Freedor

 

Freedor is a unique, ergonomic solution for holding your fire doors open safely and legally and ensures that you can improve access in premises. Freedor is a wireless device installed at the top of a fire door that allows the door to swing freely, be left in any position, but will close the door when the fire alarm sounds.

 

Freedor needs to hear a fire alarm that exceeds 65dBA, verifying the alarm over a 14 second period. Freedor will then release the door preventing the spread of fire and smoke around the building.

How it works

 

 

Freedor works on a swing bracket installed at the top of the fire door. This bracket will enable you to keep your fire door open and the technology built inside will listen out for a continuous fire alarm of 65 decibels or higher.

 

When Freedor hears the alarm it will release, closing the door and preventing fire and smoke spreading around the building.

 

Installation & Operation
